This article explains actions that need to be taken before sharing a video in a Zoom Meeting.

Before the meeting

1. Install Audio Drivers

If you have not already installed the Zoom audio drivers, the first time you click “Share” on the Zoom tool bar, you will be asked to install them.  Enter your Mac password when prompted.

2. Check the speakers

Verify that your you have selected the speakers “Same as System”.

Click on the up arrow < ^ > located on the Zoom tool bar and set the speaker to “Same as System”.

3. Load the video

Before the meeting you should have the videos loaded and ready to share.  For website videos, it looks best to have the video fill the browser screen. DO NOT MINIMIZE THE BROWSER TO THE DOCK.  Just leave it open on the desk top.

During the Meeting

1.  When you are ready to share your video, click on the Share icon on the Zoom tool bar.

2.  BEFORE you select the video you MUST tick these two boxes:

a.  Share Computer Sound
b. Optimize for full-screen video clip.

3.  Select the video and click Share.  (For a web video, you would select the browser you opened the video in.)

4.  Make the video full screen by clicking on the Full screen icon and then Start your video.

5.  Once your video is done, you can stop sharing, by clicking on the “Stop Share” button located at the top of your screen.
